At Desert Rose Scents, we want to ensure your online shopping experience is seamless. If you are not completely satisfied with your fragrance purchase, you can log a return within 30 days of delivery.
Please note that because we operate strictly as an online e-commerce boutique, all returns and refunds are processed securely via our courier network and central fulfillment hub. We do not have physical retail stores for walk-in drop-offs or direct exchanges.
How Refunds are Processed
Following the standard online retail process, all courier returns must undergo a formal inspection before a refund is finalized:

The perfume box must be completely unopened, unused, and undamaged.

The original protective cellophane wrapping and any security seals must be fully intact.

Due to public health, safety, and hygiene regulations surrounding cosmetics and personal care products, we cannot accept returns or issue refunds for any fragrance that has been unsealed, opened, or sprayed.
Return Conditions (Unopened Items)
To be eligible for a successful refund or exchange, your item must be returned in the exact condition you received it:

Damaged or Defective Items
We take immense care in packaging our premium scents securely. However, if your order arrives damaged from transit or possesses a clear manufacturing fault (such as a broken bottle or a faulty spray nozzle):

Please include your order number along with clear photographic or video proof of the damage.

Once the defect is verified by our team, we will arrange a courier collection at our expense and fast-track your choice of a full refund or a replacement bottle.
Return Shipping for Change of Mind

If you are returning an item simply because you changed your mind, you will be responsible for booking and paying for your own courier service to deliver the package back to our central hub.

Shipping fees from your original order are non-refundable.

We highly recommend using a trackable courier service, as we cannot guarantee or process a refund for items that are lost or damaged in transit back to us.
How to Log Your Return
Since we don’t have a physical store setup, logging a return is entirely digital:

Send an email to info@desertrosescents.co.za with your order number and details of the product you want to return.

Our support team will review your request and reply with the precise delivery address for our central fulfillment hub.

Securely package the perfume box back into a shipping carton to ensure it isn’t damaged during transit.

Once our courier team receives and signs for the package, we will begin the inspection and 7-day refund timeline.
